Our Story 

In 2019, whilst living in my van and working as a freelance set builder in the events industry I discovered the concept of bentwood rings. Having few workshop tools that I could power or use in the van I was bought a mini modelling lathe for my birthday and invested in a small selection of wood veneer, some superglue and some sandpaper. I was given some cheap wood carving chisels that I modified to use as lathe chisels and set about learning how to make these rings myself. I soon developed the skills through some cold winter nights and to my surprise people really liked my work, gifting rings to friends and family. At the time I hadn't considered even attempting to make jewellery with the intention of selling. 

Fast forward 2 years and I was blessed to have met my beautiful wife. We soon had our first child and shortly after he was born (a wonderful, but slightly shocking surprise) became pregnant with our daughter. During our daughters infancy Hayley asked me to teach her how to make bentwood rings and she took to the craft like a duck to water. It wasn't long until she suggested posting some of our rings online (I don't personally have any social media accounts) with a view to selling our creations. Low and behold, people were interested! The rest, as they say, is history.
